Description<\/strong><\/h4>\n

The Mus\u00e9e de la Batellerie is in a 15th century house in the town centre, displaying two centuries of navigation history in the 3 exhibition rooms, with models, photos, objects and ancient instruments.<\/p>\n

The town of Saint-Jean-de-Losne is where the Sa\u00f4ne, the Canal de Bourgogne and the Canal Rhin-Rh\u00f4ne all meet. It was a hub for navigation until the beginning of the 20th century.\u00a0 From 1987, some passionate collectors decided to showcase this history across three exhibition rooms. With the permanent collection, you can learn all about the life of sailors and navigation. The museum has a great number of photographs, models and all sorts of everyday objects, so you can find out about the history of sailors here.
