It houses a series of frescoes portraying devils and demons from the 15th century. Each wall and vault of the chancel portrays scenes throughout the history of the bible: annunciation, evangelists, etc. The wall paintings are listed Historic Monuments.

The arch of the chancel is decorated with a calendar representing the twelve months of the year with scenes of everyday life. One of the vaults is devoted to hell. A Beelzebub is making a dinner of damned souls, bubbling away in a pot. While waiting for them to cook, the beast is playing the drum with two legs. Prelates, saints and the Christ all compete with each other, but Heaven remains firmly guarded.[/vc_column_text][vc_column_text el_id=”para2″]

Price & Payments

Free admission

[/vc_column_text][vc_column_text el_id=”para3″]

Services and Facilities

Car park

Automatic opening of doors

[/vc_column_text][vc_column_text el_id=”para4″]

Opening hours

The church is open all year round, no bookings are needed.
